This Week
▸Your active spending tracker. Shows budget, amount spent, and remaining for the current week.
▸Tap + Add purchase to log a new expense. Give it a description, amount, and category.
▸Tap Edit on any entry to change its amount or category. Tap × to delete it.
▸Use the dropdown at the top to browse and edit any previous week. Tap Current week to return.
▸A new week is created automatically every Monday at midnight based on your device's local time.
▸The progress bar turns amber when you've used 80% of your budget and red when you're over.
History
▸Browse all past weeks grouped by year. Current year is expanded by default — tap any year to collapse or expand it.
▸Tap any week card to expand it and see the full spending breakdown and purchase list.
▸Tap ✎ Edit week inside an expanded week to jump to that week on the This Week tab for editing.
▸Use the category filter chips to narrow the history view to a single spending category.
▸The category breakdown chart at the top shows spending by category for the selected time range. Tap any category bar to see a trend line chart over time.
▸Use the 1M · 3M · 6M · 9M · 1Y · ITD chips to change the trend chart's date range.
Income
▸Add one or more monthly paychecks. Tap Edit to update amount or pay date. Tap Remove paycheck inside the edit form to delete one.
▸The app calculates your actual weekly budget automatically: (income − fixed expenses) ÷ 4.33.
▸Goal weekly budget is your personal spending target. Set it below your actual weekly to build savings.
Fixed Expenses
▸Recurring monthly bills like rent, subscriptions, and insurance. These are factored into your weekly budget calculation.
▸Tap + Add Expense to add a new recurring item. Tap Edit to update amount or due date. Tap × to remove.
Data & Backup
▸All data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
▸Use Backup (JSON) to save a full backup of all your data. Do this periodically or before switching devices.
▸Use Restore Backup (JSON) to load a backup on a new device. This replaces all current data.
▸Use Spreadsheet (CSV) to export all transactions to a file that opens in Excel or Numbers.
▸Use Import Transactions (CSV) to merge purchases from a CSV into your existing data. Duplicates are skipped automatically.
▸On iPhone, exported files are saved to your Files app. From there you can save to iCloud or share via AirDrop.
